Alko Vintages is a homegrown East African winery, located in Tanzania’s Central Region.  The company has a strong heritage in vinification and is the proud home to a range of celebrated wine brands in Tanzania.

At Alko Vintages, we pride in making best-quality wines from a variety of tropical grapes; carefully selected from family-owned vineyards of Dodoma. The vineyards are largely semi-organic, cultivated by hand and watered with fresh spring waters, originating from the Eastern Arc Mountains of Udzungwa.

The unique weather conditions of Dodoma, combined with great artistry and passion, bring out the richness of the berries used in the making of our richly flavoured wine brands.  

Our wines are superbly fermented in a controlled environment and are zealously prepared with a touch of creative craftsmanship, borne of a resilient spirit of the African tradition.
